Order and Chaos
Music has been a foundational and fundamental part of my life and is who I am. I love going to listen to music at concerts and such when I can. I am always moved so much by the music, and it is a powerful medium of channeling for me.
I found this song when attending a concert last year, and no matter how much I listen to it, its potency never fades, or fails to surprise me with the emotion it evokes within me- most probably connected to the loss of my father and mentor in 2017. I present you with this deeply potent song, which I recorded and set to images and scenes to amplify the meaning of the words.
It will hold meaning for everyone. In my case, it speaks to the part of me that still grieves the loss of my dearest dad. You may also find your thoughts wondering to those you have lost.
It is a song that describes the connectedness of everything and everyone. So those we grieve the loss of are part of us and part of the Earth. And the transition from our bodies back to the Earth is a natural part of life.
